A trivia night, or pub quiz, is usually an intimate contest where groups of 4-8 (6 is the ideal) spend a number of hours in a pub figuring out who has the most useless, trivial knowledge.
A triviamaster presents a quiz with fifty to one hundred questions, ordinarily divided into categories of 10 questions. Categories could include sport and leisure, potpourri, science and nature, history, geography and arts and literature.
